Just upgraded my crossrip to these pedals. So much better pedaling. The freedom to change from one to the other even with shoes.

Comments:
I ride a mix of dirt/gravel trails and paved surfaces. Sometimes I forget my cleated shoes. This gives me the option of switching between clipped or not on the fly. Extra advantage: the platform side is hollow in the middle, allowing my cleat to protrude down below the plane of the pedal. Simply clip out, flip the pedal, and step on a firm flat surface with my cleat out of the way. Perfect when encountering crossings and pedestrians on an urban trail. Once clear I just flip to the other side and clip back in.

If u want to "ease" into clipless pedals, these are a good choice! I can choose to be clipped in or I can flip the pedal and be completely unattached to the bike! Nice product for those learning to use clipless pedals!

These are really nice pedals--the clip on pedals have a really good feel to them and then you have the option to go with regular pedals on family rides to the park.

These pedals are great. I am a person that has many bikes. I don't always put on my cycling shoes when I hop on my bike, these pedals are on some of my recreation bikes so I always have the option. They are great and I highly recommend them.

Comments:
I ride my bike for exercise and the enjoyment of the open road. I live in the country and try to take different roads to explore the area. The roads can be pretty rough in places. After a lot of thought, I decided to buy new pedals and bike shoes. I wanted something that was versatile and would allow me to ride without my bike shoes. These pedals have been great. The whole bike-shoe/clipped-to-the-pedal thing is something to get used to, but I'm getting there and find it easier to use every day.
